& Disease - What constitutes a snake emergency?
If you
ever notice any of the following, seek immediate veterinary care!
- General
weakness and inability to move
- Unresponsiveness,
lack of awareness/tounge searching
- Open-mouthed
breating or bubbly saliva
- Twitching,
tremors, or lack of coordination
- Lack
of appetite for 2 months or more
- Bloody
excretions from either end
- Open
wounds or burns
- Prolonged
straining to defecate or lay eggs
- Unusual
posturing or obvious anatomical deformities
